we never learn, don't we?

we never learn that taking things for granted has its consequences.

we always have our what if's and regrets. always. but we never learn.

we should have realized by now that turning back time is never an option.

we don't live in a charmed world.

what we have is the fact that reality sometimes slaps us hard on the face and we have no one to blame but ourselves.

that's what probably hurts most -- having no one to blame but ourselves.

regret can be very painful sometimes. but we never learn.

the only thing we could do to comfort ourselves is to hope that things would turn out right. . .

So verily with every difficulty there is relief.
